Inspired by Kristen Stewart - Smokey Eyes

Hiya Everyone

Ok I admit it - I am a Twihard.

I adore the Twilight books, and I enjoy the films, but you don't have to be a fan to admire Kristen Stewart.

I think she's beautiful, she has her own unique style, she doesn't care about following others, she's her own person (and I love the fact she wears her Converse to film premiers!)

Her make-up is always fantastic, very smokey and smudgy, so I thought I would do my version of her makeup inspired by her look at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards

It's such a beautiful look, so here's what I used for my version:

  • Urban Decay NAKED palate in NAKED,BUCK and CREEP
  • MAC Tartan Tale Dashing Lassie Eye Shadows in A DASHING LASSIE and MAGICAL MIST
  • MAC Eyeshadow in BRONZE
  • MAC Zoom Fast Mascara in BLACK
  • RIMMEL Waterproof Gel Eyeliner in BLACK
  • RIMMEL Soft Kohl Eyeliner Pencil in STORMY GREY
  • Eylure Katy Perry Eyelashes in Oh Honey!
  • Duo Eyelash Adhesive Glue

  • MAC 219 Pencil Brush
  • MAC 231 Small Shader Brush
  • MAC 224 Tapered Blending Brush
  • MAC 275 Medium Angled Shading Brush
Note: I'm aware the Dashing Lassie palate was Limited Edition, however, any silver grey and white shades will do :)

Lets begin!

Step One

Using a 275 brush I applied the NAKED shade all over my eye for a nice base colour

Step Two

Using the 219 brush, I mixed the white and grey shades and applied in the middle of my eyelid

Step Three

Using the 219 brush I applied CREEP in the outer corner of my eye, blending to mix with the other shades slightly

Step Four

Apply BUCK in the inner corner of your eye with the 231 brush, and across the crease of your eyelid, apply a little more in the outer corner and spread outwards slightly.  Don't worry about it being messy, as you'll be blending it all in

Step Five

Blend Blend Blend!

Step Six

Use the gel eyeliner and fill in over the CREEP shade, to add more depth, then use your 231 shader brush to smudge the eyeliner and blend it more
Step Seven

Using the gel eyeliner, apply a very very thin line from the inner corner, right to your outer corner

Step Eight

Apply your grey eyeliner to the waterline of your eye

Step Nine

Use the flat side of a 231 brush and apply BUCK under your eyelid, and join with your outer corner

Step Ten

This look doesn't have really mega full lashes, but I couldn't find any half lash sets that I liked, so I've used Katy Perry Eyelashes and cut them about 3/4 the way across, I used my eyelash applicator and Duo glue

Step Eleven

I used MAC Zoom Mascara to blend the false eyelashes into my own, then used my shader brush to apply the bronze eyeshadow over the BUCK colour.

Blend everything together, and here's the final result:

Ombre Hair Trend

Hiya Beautiful People!

I've had some lovely comments on previous posts about my hair, so I thought I'd show you guys how I gave my hair an ombre makeover!

celebrities with ombre hair

Who doesn't know the ombre trend?  It's still hot this summer, and so easy to do, loads of celebrities are showing off their results, the three above are some of my favourites.

I'm personally not a fan of the too drastic dark hair to bright blonde, I opted to try a more subtle look, it blends alot better and looks more natural

On a side note: I have only bleached my hair extensions, bleach is really strong and can be dangerous.  Please don't bleach your hair yourself, ask your hairdresser :)

So let's begin....
bleach hair dye

I used L'Oreal Perfect Blonde Creme Maximum, it lightens your hair up to six shades, so its strong stuff

I also bought a brush from Boots for £1.99, to blend the dye more easy

I brushed my extensions, and lay them out on a very old towel!
The dye was easy to mix, (make sure your wearing the gloves provided!) I focused on the ends, as they were what I wanted to lighten most, then used the dye brush to brush the dye in upward strokes for a more blended effect

After about 25 minutes or so, I could see the golden colour I wanted coming through, you could always leave it on for up to 45 minutes if you want blonder, just remember to keep an eye on it as it can change quickly

After I washed my extensions and applied the conditioner, I let them dry naturally then styled, here's the result:

What do you think? Love it or loathe it? I love the sunkissed summer vibe it has, and also not touching my hair is a bonus, maybe could have left the dye on longer, but I didn't want to ruin the tutorial for you guys! Lol

They were really old extensions I used, so when I come to purchase more soon I think I'll ombre them too, now I know it'll turn out!  I can always dye the ends back!

Hope you enjoyed :)  Please comment/subscribe, it means so much to me!

Lets all get on trend!

Hiya!

I just wanted to post quick about one of my favourite necklaces, anyone that knows me will tell you I adore anything personalised!
So many celebrities are sporting the name necklace look, I don't think it ever goes out of trend:
